3) Manisha Pandit- A young widow with 3 kids needs help to survive in this city, she recently lost her husband to AIDS, and needs help for ration and rent, she works as a domestic maid and earns around Rs3000/- every month, which is not sufficient for her and school going kids..you can contribute towards her ration or rent ..we wish to give her Rs1500/- every month, please call me if you wish to help her ...

TBGF would like to thank you and update about the cases that we have been reaching out for sometime now...all because of your support and donations.
1) Kursa- She is a widow who lives in Sion and is abandoned by her children, Kursa needs medicine and regular doctor advice for her health. She has diabetes and suffers from knee problem. She gets a pension but it is not enough for her to manage her day to day expenses. Her medicines and doctor's fees is nearly Rs1000 every month. If anyone wishes to sponsor her medicines or ration , please get in touch with us. She is lovely human being and needs to live in dignity in her old age.
2) 28 kids from Aarambh an NGO in Turbhe managed by Ms Shobha Murthy- We are sponsoring these kids fees who are studying in private schools in Vashi, Turbhe and Panvel. Please get in touch with us if you wish to sponsor their fees which is Rs 250/-every month for each kid. You can also call Ms Murthy on 9820616940 if you wish to visit these children.
3) Varsha Gudhekar- She is studyiing class 10th in Holy Family High School, Dahisar. Her father earns Rs3-4000/- per month by repairing musical instruments. Her monthly fees is Rs425/- which her father cannot afford as she has 2 more siblings. Please mail us if you wish to sponsor her fees.
4) Uttarkash- We are trying to help these women supported by this NGO run by Ms Nilima Jadhav, in a project which will help to earn a decent living.

Hi friends We would like to share this great news with you all.TBGF reached out to 52 kids in need , we were able to give school fees for all these kids , all thanks to GOD and YOUR Donations….there are some more kids that we are planning to sponsor so guys do help these kids too… Once again we would like to say that we do not take bright kids only but any kid who wants to continue his/her studies and we believe Education is the best gift we can gift to anyone..so if you come across kids wanting to pursue their studies..do let us know and together we can help them. As mentioned in my last update we were collecting funds for kids from Aarambh NGO, needing sponsors for their education…well the GOOD NEWS is that we were able to collect enough funds for them…and its still coming..so Thank God once again..we need Rs 6500/- every month for these 26 kids..so guys please help us to continue. TBGF is again starting the initiative of "Education" for this academic year starting from this June..as you all know that last year we sponsored 20 kids in all ...we were able to provide for all their needs because of your "Support" and "Love" so this year too please continue to sponsor these new kids..the good news is that all these private schools mentioned have agreed to take only Rs250/- per month from these kids.. Hi Friends TBGF would like to thank “GOD” and all the “SPONSORS” for the kids we reached out last year…June10 to April11. In all we helped 20 kids with their school/college fees. We were able to provide new school bags and stationery to nearly 50 kids throughout the year. So once again a big thank you to all of you who made a difference in these kids lives. This year we intent to reach out to more kids with “YOUR” support and time. TBGF will send a detailed list of kids needing sponsors by next month. Hi Friends I want to share a very good news with you all about Roshelle .A 16 year old girl for whom we were raising funds. She is doing very well and her heart surgery went off very well. Roshelle was very touched by the various people who came forward and supported her as friends and also donated towards her operation. She on her part decided to give donation of Rs25000/- to TBGF towards Ketan’s treatment. We are really touched by her this gesture of “giving” because TBGF main mission is making the people in need self sufficient and they in turn help someone else in need . Once this starts happening in our society the poverty will vanish from our country…so God bless people like Roshelle and Maureen. Regarding Ketan also we have a very good news...his treatment will go on without any interruption since TBGF has collected enough money for him till July.He needed Rs12000 every month for his growth hormone injections. We want to share a need of Uttakarsh, a registered NGO run by my good friend Ms Nilima Jadhav, they need 5 solar lamps, educational charts and 85 slates for their adult literacy project at Palghar for which they have trained five literate adivasis (Missionaries) to teach 150 illeterate adivasis. Well just wanted to remind you about the work that we do...an initiative started from Dec, 08...To help the poor and needy of our society..Helping the people who are not living in villages in India but living with us in our cities..They can be our watchman, maid, sweeper or anyone..we help out families with monthly ration, medicines and paying school fees… we also raise funds for the operations mainly for kids from poor families…so please continue to support our work with your monthly donations of Rs200-500..You can also give us a yearly donations..it helps these families big way…

July 2010 Hi Friends I will start with couple of good news.. Monica-a small baby girl who was suffering from stomach cancer, was operated yesterday in Tata hospital, Parel and it was a success. The trust was helping her from last year …she can now look forward to leading a normal life. Ketan , a 14 year old who needed growth hormone injections daily, also got a sponsor and his treatment was started from July. He needs to be on this treatment for nearly a year and the monthly cost is Rs12000/-..If you wish sponsor him for a month you can give the cheque directly to the company…Please call me for the details. Finally, please do get in touch with if you wish to sponsor the kids we are supporting. They need a helping hand to come up in life, so please do make a difference in their lives…. We are raising funds for Jhanavi a six month old baby suffering from serious liver condition…right now they need Rs30000/- for the tests ..the cost of her operation is around 15lakhs, the tests and operation will be done in Bangalore though they reside in Pune. I would request you all to come forward and support this baby. If you know any trusts or social workers living in Pune who could help this baby would be great. I will start with a very good news...Out of those 10 street kids, 4 kids have reached Goa.they will be studying in Bethesda Life Center, Goa where they lives will be changed forever.The remaining kids will also be going soon. We still have some of our kids who need sponsors this year. They need footwear and uniforms also. Please get in touch with me if you wish to contribute for their needs. Kajal/Rahul/Anmol ages14/13/9-Studying in Swami Vivekanand school Marathi medium, dahisar-they need Rs 2300/- (for all of them) per month for tuitions and their school fees is around Rs 600/- for the full year. Their mother is HIV+ and works as domestic help and father also HIV+ is alcoholic and jobless.
Ruksana is in 8th std in municipal school needs Rs300 p.m tuition fees ,comes from family of 6 brothers/sisters. She is the eldest and also works from home. Making jewellery/ picking up scrap. April 2010 We are very happy to share this news that most of the kids that we are supporting have passed with good marks...and by god's grace,we were able able to pay their fees on time through our generous sponsors.. We have started our initiative of getting these kids and some more who are coming in "SPONSORS"-and their time and love..last year we were successful in getting sponsors for most of these children..these sponsors not only paid their fees but some also bought new school bags, stationery for them..so this year we again want to do this with your support. The exact number of kids that we are planning to sponsor will be ready by end of this month. If you wish to come forward and sponsor these kids please get in touch with me. You can also sponsor their school bags, water bottles, stationery,uniforms.Since June is the month of rains most of these children would love to have a new raincoat/umbrellas and sandals. Now some more good news...Ms Lata Nair-The trust was helping her from May, 09, she finally has a place of her own, in Kandivli East and a job.. If anyone wants to donate household articles to her, please call me. Archana, she is a widow and mother of 4 kids, she is really very poor and the trust helped her to get a job in Bindi making factory where she earns Rs 900 per month. But we are supporting her in her monthly ration and medicines. If anyone wants to donate toys, books or clothes for her children, please call me. Now our main focus for these couple of months is raising funds for the kids we are supporting or may be supporting in future. They need new uniform, school bags, stationery, shoes and school/tuition fees. We need people to help us raise funds for these cause or please do get in touch with me, Anil or Berlyn. If anyone wishes to buy school bags, stationery etc for these kids, please call me… If you wish to speak about the trust to your companies or friends we will help you with the presentation, just let us know but please do spread the word with friends and families to join and support our cause… Feb 2010 I will start with good news...last month we spoke about Ms Lata Nair, a homeless lady who overcame cancer but struggling to get back to her normal life because she didn't have any job to support herself, she got the job as office helper in Natsun Technologies, Kandivli east… Then there was another case of Soni, a cancer patient who needed Rs 8000/- for her chemo, we were able to raise money for her, her chemo is delayed because she is too weak to take it... Her family is very poor and is not able to buy monthly ration so we have decided to help them, if anyone wants to help her by buying ration or clothes please get in touch with me... Jan 2010 Thanks once again for supporting us in our cause of helping the less fortunate… God has been gracious enough that money kept pouring in throughout Jan for these families… I am very thankful to Jesus and all of you for always being there for these families
I am writing a few lines about the families we help out on regular basis... Please do read it... 1. Lata Nair.she is a homeless well educated, cancer affected lady who lives outside Tata hospital, parel...The trust gives her Rs 1000/- every month for her basic needs...She needs a job and a place to live. Please help her to find a job so that she can look forward to living a respectable life. 2. Monica-she is a 2 year old kid from Dhule, suffering from cancer in stomach, her parents are daily wage laborers who are very poor and are living on streets outside Tata Hospital, they need money from time to time for her medicines and food till her operation in Mid Feb... 3. Soni- she is a 20 year old girl suffering from bone cancer who regularly needs 12000/- for her chemo...she lives in Sion with her jobless parents, she often goes without food for days. 4. Jyoti- she is young mother of 9 year old Mahesh, she is a HIV patient, we provide her basic ration and pay fees for her son every month...she is a widow with no job. 5.Kursa-an aged lady who lives in a pathetic condition in a chawl in Sion Labour Camp, she needs a good home to live , she is abandoned by her 3 well settled daughters living in Mumbai, we buy medicines and ration every month for her.. she deserves a better life at this age. These are just few cases that I am mentioning who needs your help , please do call me if you want to help them in any way, these people also need a good life like us ,Don’t you think??? |
